FOLLOWING the recent announcement that they will be releasing a brand new album titled Satan’s graffiti or God’s art? on 5th May, Black Lips have unveiled yet another storming track by the name of ‘Squatting In Heaven’.

Produced by Sean Lennon, the raucous sax-heavy offering opens with a blare of horns before the band’s signature huge sleazy riffs take over to create a dark and gritty piece of thunderous rock & roll. Full of piercing guitar lines and indiscernible vocals, Lennon’s psych influences make themselves known as the track bites and snarls with wicked force.

Featuring contributions from Yoko Ono and Fat White Family’s Saul Adamczewski, the forthcoming album will be the band’s first release since the phenomenal Underneath the Rainbow came out in 2014. Said to be their most musically evolved to date, it arrives on 5th May in the UK via Vice Records.
