ENERGETIC rock outfit Bloodlines have shared the music video for their latest single ‘Skeletons’, which exhibits an esoteric side of the band that perhaps none of their fans were expecting.

‘Skeletons’ is in similar fashion to METZ, albeit a little tamer, as it features the distorted bass, screaming vocals and general frenzy surrounding their chaotic choruses. It is also evident that this new Scottish four-piece has taken influence from their fellow countrymen Biffy Clyro because of the angular riffs on show. Bloodlines’ new track only lasts just over two minutes, but that’s plentiful to make a statement.

As for the video: it’s fast-paced, fuzzy in parts, and lacks any sort of being able to comprehend what is going on. Directed and shot by Matt Liengie, the video features the band playing in an eerie forest that is occupied by the human remains that are highlighted in its title and mannequins drenched in a thick black goo that also exudes from their mouths. It’s a rather odd video to accompany a great, short punk number.
