THE BAND: Announcing their return completely out of the blue last month, Blur have confirmed a couple of massive gigs including Hyde Park and FIB in Spain. Their new record is due this year, their first record since 2003’s Think Tank.
THE SOUND: Another fuzz laden track, ‘There Are Too Many of Us’ features minimal drums and overarching psychedlica. The new offering is another example of the tunes inspired by a stint in Hong Kong.
THE VIDEO: Featuring a low energy live performance, the video features the entire band as they smoke fags and sport serious expressions. The video is intercepted with some close ups of the band and guitars and the screen is split with random moving images for the ultimate lo-fi feel.
