The band: Bwani Junction have been kicking around for some years now, growing up with music and as such they’ve outgrown their name. Dropping the Junction and changing up the arrangement of capital letters, newly named BWANi say: “It’s what people call us anyway.”

The sound: It’s a track that’s all about the rhythm section and memorable lyrics, demonstrating an all-round sound packed with catchy hooks and searing guitars. Explaining the song’s origins, lead singer Rory Fairweather says:
“We came up with the tune at sound-check in Hanoi, and decided to play it unfinished that night: two thousand wee Vietnamese heads bobbing up and down suggested we might be onto a winner!”

The lowdown: The band play gigs in London at The Garage, Islington on November 12th, and Edinburgh, Liquid Rooms on November 28th. The single will drop on 1st December 2014.
