The band: Casual Sex may not sound like a band to be taken too seriously, but the Glasgow four-piece are building a seriously impressive CV. They have supported Franz Ferdinand, played SXSW and were included in the Wall Street Journal’s list of best concerts 2013. Their highly anticipated debut album is now just around the corner.
The sound: They are set to release a new double A side of ‘A Perfect Storm’ and ‘Pissing Neon’ which will feature on their debut album. ‘A Perfect Storm’ is a restrained track featuring synth’s, light guitars and lyrics alluding to change and new prospects.
The lowdown: ‘A Perfect Storm’/’Pissing Neon’ will be out on the 6th October through We Can Still Picnic Records. They will also be playing the CCA in Glasgow on the same night.
