THE BAND: Liverpool group Circa Waves formed back in 2013 and caught the attention of many with their bright, fresh-faced and propulsive indie rock sound The band often take influence from the melodic tracks from fellow indie bands, such as The Strokes. This in turn has led them to comparisons with The Vaccines;due to the group’s potential and the expansive feel that emanates from every one of their songs.
THE SOUND: The band’s rise has been incredible considering they are yet to even release a debut album. ‘T-Shirt Weather’, like many of their other tracks, listens as if it is custom manufactured for summer listening with the intricate guitar work and energetic delivery paying homage to similarly tireless indie bands like Two Door Cinema Club.
THE VIDEO: The four boys are propped in archways, each one placed on a rotating wheel while they are sprayed with images of vintage summers and bright colours emitting from a background projector.
