COMMUNIONS have shared another taster of their forthcoming debut album Blue with the release of new single ‘It’s Like Air’.

The Danish quartet have already revealed an impressive pair of tracks from the record including ‘Got To Be Free’ and ‘Come On I’m Waiting’ but they soar to new heights with this latest offering; cranking the sense of anticipation up even further for the debut album.

Having proven their ability to create pulsing guitar pop with a hard-hooked edge, ‘It’s Like Air’ has all the hallmarks of a Communions tune; its crooning vocals and bittersweet lyrics sitting over big, bold guitar riffs and dance-worthy rhythms. Strongly influenced by eighties indie music, the song possesses a Madchester swagger that is reminiscent of The Stone Roses before making you swoon with its soaring melodies.

A far cry from the moodiness of their earlier work, this is a massive guitar-powered love song that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on the listener. It comes as no surprise then that a great deal of anticipation surrounds the release of their debut album Blue; due to come out on 3rd February via Fat Possum Records.
