AUSTRALIAN singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett has announced a very exciting new collaboration with Jack White, who acts as producer on the upcoming single.
Recorded at White’s Third Man Records studios in Nashville over the summer, the single’s A-Side ‘Boxing Day Blues Revisited’, is an addendum to the Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit track, ‘Boxing Day Blues’.
The B-Side, meanwhile, sees Barnett covering the contemplative ‘Shivers’, penned by her countryman Rowland S. Howard of The Birthday Party. The single will be released on 16th October 2015 as part of Third Man Record’s Blue Series in conjunction with Milk! Records and Remote Control. Listen to ‘Shivers’ below:
