The band: Glasgow’s Crash Club are electro-rock in its purest form. Creating their sound through influences including Primal Scream and The Chemical Brothers, the band have supported the likes of The Sunshine Underground in the past and drop this release on the day of their biggest gig to date, supporting The Klaxons at ABC2 in Glasgow.

The sound: With Medicine Men’s Ian MacKinnon stepping in, his distinctive vocal brings the song to life. Masters of the crossover genre, Crash Club’s new release cleverly combines Kraftwerk influences with a magic mix of 80’s synth and guitar rock. The band say their inspiration ranged from the grooves of the Happy Mondays and Jagwar Ma.

The video: Featuring the band performing in a studio set-up, the video was recorded at The Admiral Bar in Glasgow.

The lowdown: To celebrate their support slot with The Klaxons, Crash Club will release the groove-ridden ‘Recondition’ as a free digital download on 27th October 2014. For more information check out their Facebook page.
