DARLIA frontman Nathan Day battles his demons on latest single ‘Beam Me Up’.

Following the band’s triumphant return with ‘Ballad of Black & White’ earlier this year, the Blackpool rockers have now revealed its follow-up; possibly one of their most brutally honest and emotional offerings to date. Discussing the catharsis of songwriting, the frontman said: “It amazes me how brutally open you can be in songs and not even wince when it gets put out into the world… I wrote this song because I can’t afford a therapist. I’m lucky that writing songs is a legitimate coping mechanism”

Aside from its deeply personal lyrical content, the track is an anthemic piece of indie-rock with a big beltalong chorus to match; less chaotic than previous offerings but every bit as emphatic.

Darlia have a busy year lined up including an appearance at Community Festival At Finsbury Park in London on 1st July where they will play alongside Catfish & the Bottlemen, The Wombats, Slaves and more.
