PREMIERED on Radio 1 last night by new music aficionado Jack Saunders, Declan Welsh & the Decadent West have unveiled a blistering new track called ‘No Fun’.

Over an onslaught of searing guitar lines and furiously paced rhythms, the frontman rails against the moronic, self-absorbed characters you meet on nights out that you just can’t wait to get away from. Delivered in typically scathing yet lyrically astute fashion, ‘No Fun’ is a damning, almost comical character assassination; one that exposes such characters for their banal chat, music taste and penchant for bucket hats and buckfast in cups. ‘You’re no fun at a party’ Welsh proclaims on the track’s fierce chorus.

Dark, relentless and perhaps their heaviest cut to date, ‘No Fun’ sees the quartet continue to develop their sound in exciting ways, with bite and an added edge.

Following the news that they have signed to ModernSky, the band are in the midst of a UK tour which has taken them everywhere from Aberdeen to the Isle of Wight. The finish the tour with a coveted slot on the Leftfield Stage at Glastonbury on the 28th June.
