WITH their long-awaited debut album just around the corner, Dream Wife have shared another one of its sublime tracks alongside a brand new animated video.
‘Hey Heartbreaker’ may be familiar to long-term fans of the band but it sounds even more fiery than ever. Another blistering, highly addictive tune to add to their repertoire, the track features peppy handclaps, pulsating rhythms and the band’s signature cutting guitar lines.
The accompanying cinematic video was created by Mason London and depicts the three-piece as robots performing in a bar in an alternate universe. Of the dystopian clip, the band have said: “It’s uncanny to watch these mechanical, parallel versions of ourselves rock out and then break out. We like to think that in another reality our robot versions are continuing their adventures; perhaps in the forest, perhaps plotting for a robot revolution, perhaps playing wild, secret rock shows to other robots”.
Known for their ferocious live shows, Dream Wife return to Scotland to play Glasgow’s Stereo on 23rd March.
