CURRENTLY in the midst of their sold-out ‘Spaceships’ UK tour, Easy Life are back with a brand new track called ‘Nice Guys’.

Debuted as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’ last night, ‘Nice Guy’ recalls the jazz-infused funk of Anderson Paak with its flourishes of brass and loose-limbed rhythms. Known for picking apart the indie template and refashioning it in their own unique, genre-busting style, their latest hazy hip-hop inspired number displays their innate musicality in abundance, taking cues from the West Coast and effortlessly shifting between laid-back grooves deliriously infectious melodies and celebratory horn sections.

Brimming with optimism and woozy feel-good vibes, it’s another vibrant and creatively instinctive insight to the unique sonic world Easy Life have formed. “For some paradoxical reason, sometimes you get penalised for being nice,” the group say of the new track. “Perhaps this song is an anthem for all the lovely people in this world.”

The track arrives with the news of their ‘Junk Food’ global tour which includes a date at Edinburgh’s Liquid Rooms on 24th March. Check out ‘Nice Guys’ below.
