The band: Fatherson have been around for a few years now, first stopping into Tenement TV HQ in 2011. Watch the session here. Their new work comes from new album I Am An Island. The band recently played to a packed crowd at T in the Park, taking to the infamous King Tuts tent during their stint at the festival.
The sound: The new single includes three new b-sides including a Prides Remix, an alternative version and a new track called ‘I Promise’. This particular track has a catchy harmony and guitar-heavy melody that gives it the much-loved Fatherson stamp.
The lowdown: The band are due to appear at Electric Fields festival in Dumfries & Galloway on August 30th and they will tour Europe with We Were Promised Jetpacks in September.
