CRAFTING the kind of sun-kissed indie-pop that could lift the dampest of summers, Glasgow band Fauves have returned with another exquisite offering by the name of ‘Afterglow’.

One of the first bands announced to play our very own Tenement Trail later this year, the four-piece have once again displayed an insatiable ear for melody on their latest single; eliciting positive, sunny vibes with each vibrant guitar line and infectious refrain. Boasting a distinctive voice that oscillates between breezy reflection and whimsical warble, Ryan Caldwell shines over a colourful backdrop of upbeat rhythms, jangly guitars and bouncy melodies; with the track featuring one of the most addictive choruses you’ll hear this summer.

Marking yet another brilliantly unorthodox yet impossible catchy creation from the four-piece, ‘Afterglow’ shines a light on Fauves’ massive potential; both in songwriting and execution. A band who continue to excite us with each impressive live performance, the only way is up for this fiercely talented four-piece.

Fauves play Tenement Trail on Saturday 30th September. Tickets are available here.
