FOLLOWING an extended absence that saw her abstain from releasing new music for two years, Florence + The Machine are back and sound every bit as grandiose and emotive as ever on ‘Sky Full Of Song.’

Unveiled on YouTube alongside a minimalist video from the revered AG Rojas, the new composition is one of two new tracks that will be released for Record Store Day on a special AA-side. Similarly sparse and austere as the video that accompanies it, her latest work is an introspective and choral affair that examines the furore of youthful days that have now been resigned to the catacombs of memory. Rendered in a style of production that casts allusions towards Nils Frahm’s All Melody in its clarity, the track is unmistakably Florence Welch in its theatricality and is all the better for it.

Set to emerge on 7″ vinyl this Record Store Day (Saturday 21st April) alongside a recording of New York Poem (For Polly) from her Useless Magic book that was revealed last year, check out the new track and its visuals below:
