KICKING off 2017 in blistering fashion, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes have unveiled a brand new video for their massive anthem ‘Wild Flowers’.

Directed by the critically acclaimed and Turner Prize nominated artist Jake Chapman, the music video is entirely unique in its approach; bringing Carter’s lyrics to life with a series of quickfire corresponding images. Startling, provocative and completely captivating, the furious mashup of clips matches the driving nature of the song.

Discussing the decision to work with Chapman, Carter said: “Jake Chapman is one of my favourite artists of all time. Somehow in this mad world we also became quite good friends. Foolishly I jeopardised all of that by asking him to make us a music video for our song Wild Flowers. Luckily for me, Jake is further into the abyss of madness than I am and he has made something completely captivating and utterly insane .. but best of all, we are still friends”

The track itself sees the band continue in their rich vein of form as they prepare for the release of their highly anticipated second LP Modern Ruin; an album which looks set to be one of the biggest rock releases of this year. Carter’s vocal delivery is as powerful as ever over relentless percussion and driving riffs before the track bursts into life on a sweeping chorus; transforming the track into a stirring call to arms that yearns for crowd participation.

It’s another immense take from the upcoming album which is due for release on 27th January 2017. The band will also be bringing their notorious live show around the UK in March which will feature a date at Saint Luke’s in Glasgow on 19th March. Check it out below:
