FRANZ FERDINAND have unveiled a brand new synth-heavy single by the name of ‘Feel The Love Go’.
Set to feature on their eagerly anticipated album Always Ascending, the propulsive track is the latest indication that the legendary Scottish outfit have delved into their electronic influences more than ever on their upcoming release. Much like the album’s delectably funky title track, the band’s latest effort finds them in rejuvenated form; combining pulsating synths with Alex Kapranos’ seductive delivery and an impressive sax solo.
It all comes together to create a high-energy, infectious number that is sure to increase anticipation for their next album even further. Set to be their first since 2013’s Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, the band’s fifth record looks set to mark an exciting new era for the ooutfit and is slated for release on 9th February. Kapranos and co will also return to play a big hometown show at Glasgow’s O2 Academy on 17th February.
