The sound: A snappy fuzz-punk track, at just 2:05 minutes long the girls get straight to the point, putting the men in their life in their place with a gritty love song full of rhythmic bass lines and grungy guitar hooks.

The video: ‘Blah Blah Blah’ was directed by Sini Anderson (director of the highly acclaimed Kathleen Hanna documentary ‘The Punk Singer’) and filmed at The Smell in L.A.

The lowdown: ‘Blah Blah Blah’ is taken from Girlpool’s self-titled debut EP – out now on CD, 180g Orange Vinyl and download. Click here to purchase. The band play three London dates this  month on 17th,18th and 19th. You can also see them at Gold Sounds Festival in Leeds on 23rd November.
