IT’S been a year filled with many of the world’s finest bands reconvening and bringing new material but there’s very few that’s been more anticipated than that of Australia’s Jagwar Ma.
Releasing a cult classic in the form of their debut LP Howlin, the band’s heady mix of electronica and traditional songwriting has left thousands not only utterly captivated but also pining for more material.
The first single from their upcoming new record, Jagwar Ma have unleashed the intense ‘O B 1.’
Featuring textures and synths which could catapult you back to the heydays of acid house, ‘O B 1’ sees Jagwar Ma pick up where they left off and in absolutely mesmerising form. A sprawling five minute affair which is demonstrative of their well-honed sound firing on all cylinders, it’s a relief to hear them sounding as vital as ever upon their return.
The band’s new record Every Now And Then is scheduled to be released in Autumn of this year.
