unnamedThe band: Channeling influences like The Replacements, The Clean and The Stooges, and likened to The Strokes, Dinosuar Jr and Smashing Pumpkins, Dublin quartet Jet Setter are off-kilter with their fuzzy, straight-to-the-point, indie-rock fresh from supporting Real Estate during the Irish leg of the tour.

The sound: ‘Dippin Toes’ is a short and snappy introduction to Jet Setter which follows the release of their debut ‘Not Yet’. ‘Dippin Toes’ is just 2:07 long and with a demanding guitar riff dubbed aside Ross Hamer’s vocals, it’s early Bombay Bicycle Club meets noughties Strokes.

The lowdown: Released via Any Other City Records, who’s previous releases include the likes of James Vincent McMorrow, Villagers, Squarehead, and most recently Girl Band, this is the second single from Jet Setter ahead of their EP release which the band are recording as we speak.
