FLOORING everyone that came into contact with the majestic fusion of folk and indie rock traits that was their debut EP Call The Witch Doctor, the sibling duo of Jr Green have caused a substantial stir far beyond the reach of their rural hometown.
Back with a brand new single, the group have continued to nurture their sound with new single ‘First Blood.’
With stoicism being the furthest thing away from an accurate description of their heart-on-the-sleeve vocal delivery, this new offering is an affecting whirlwind of confessional lyricism, warm accordions and trepadatious acoustic guitar which mirrors the conflicting emotions that are embedded into its very core.
‘First Blood’ will be released on the 7th October. Additionally, the band will be embarking on a UK tour this October which features a much anticipated ate at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on the 22nd October.
