IT
may be five long years since the immensely talented duo known as The Kills released a new album but the public’s appetite for the band has never waned. Comprised of blues siren Alison Mosshart and the multi-faceted Jamie Hince, the music industry is almost unanimous in its excitement for their forthcoming new record.

Set to release Ash & Ice in little more than a month and a half, the band have revealed a rambunctious new track entitled ‘Heart Of A Dog.’

Taking cues from the heady days of classic rock and assimilating them alongside hints of electronica, ‘Heart Of A Dog’ is a whirlwind of striking riffs, thudding percussion and the utterly breathtaking vocals of Mosshart. Furthering the direction which the band set out upon first single ‘Doing It To Death’, it seems that time has not wilted their chemistry and their new record may be one of their finest to date.

Ash & Ice will be released on the 6th June via Domino.
