KNOWN for their brilliantly madcap and highly innovative creations, Long Island duo The Lemon Twigs are back with the announcement of a new EP titled Brothers of Destruction.

Ahead of its release on 4AD, the enigmatic D’Addario brothers have shared its first single ‘Night Song’. Building on the brilliant baroque rock pomp that dominated their critically acclaimed debut record Do Hollywood, the new track is yet another weird and wonderful creation from the duo which highlights the impressive scope of their musicianship.  It may be brimming with 70s influences, from David Bowie to Elton John, but no one can deny the freshness of The Lemon Twigs’ sound; from their swoon-inducing vocals to their distinctive use of the harpsichord to the dark and dizzying finale.

Describing the EP as the last chapter of the Do Hollywood era, Brothers of Destruction is due for release on 22nd September. The band said: “Many of you will recognize some of the songs from our live shows. They’ve changed a lot over the past year, but these are the original versions”.

The Lemon Twigs will return to Glasgow on 12th November to play the QMU. Check the new track out below.
