WIDELY recognised as one of the most exciting live bands in the country, Little Barrie have spent 15 years honing their sound into the finely tuned  blend of psych-rock, blues and garage it is today. It comes as no surprise though, given the wealth of experience that exists between the three members. Having recently penned the soundtrack to Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul, they have also been personally invited on tour by a number of household names over the years such as The Stone Roses and Kasabian while their lead singer Barrie Cadogan spends the rest of his time as a touring guitarist with Primal Scream. Unfazed by the surrounding hype however, the three-piece have continued to develop their musicianship and are now releasing some of their most accomplished material to date.

Latest single ‘Love Or Love’ is a sonic assault led by a frenetic bassline and relentless percussion; reminiscent of classic unbridled rock ‘n’ roll from the sixties. With guitar hooks aplenty, Cadogan sneers over a muscular backdrop of psych-tinged surf-rock; the track oozing a brooding self-confidence that only comes from authentic rock and roll bands.

Discussing the track, Cadogan has said: “‘Love Or Love’ is about the constant push and pull of life between day to day survival, mentally and financially, achieving personal goals and being there for the ones you love. That need to go with your gut but the guilt that comes with it”.

The new accompanying video fits in with the relentless pace of the track; layers of grainy images coming together in head-spinning fashion with tinges of psychedelia thrown into the mix.

Released digitally on 9th December and physically on 7th January, ‘Love or Love’ the first single to be taken from their new album ‘Death Express’, which will drop in Spring 2017.
