THE BAND: Galactic heavyweights Muse embedded their footprint on modern rock music with consistently anthemic releases following their 1999 debut Showbiz. The boys from Devon announced their return early last week with the release of the satirical ‘Psycho’ from the upcoming LP Drones and this has been closely shadowed by the release of new single ‘Dead Inside’.

THE SOUND: Despite the band claiming a return to their more guitar influenced roots, ‘Dead Inside’ does have a refined, electronic element amidst the chaos and listens like a soundtrack to some Tom Cruise movie, whether that is a good or bad thing is up to you but make no mistake it is a powerful venture and would undoubtedly evoke a positive reaction from any onlooking crowd.

THE LOWDOWN: Psycho drops on June 9th and with the band just off the back of a UK warm up tour it will not be long before more dates are announced. You can listen to ‘Dead Inside’ and the accompanying lyric video below:
