EMERGING from the shadows with news of a brand new album, US outfit Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats have unveiled its lead single ‘You Worry Me’.

Led by the frontman’s distinctively husky, whisky-soaked growl, the anthemic track is a particularly brooding and soulful return from the American collective. Featuring stabbing piano melodies and a flourish of brass, it is our first indication of the fuller and more resolved sound the band have aspired to create on their upcoming album.

Titled Tearing At The Seams, it is said to be a deeply personal record that transforms life’s challenges and difficulties and transforms them into something all the more uplifting and accessible. Recorded with producer Richard Swift (Foxygen, The Shins), frontman Nathaniel said: “For the first record, I demo’ed everything up and created most of the parts. This time, I felt like we’ve all spent so much time on the road that we should all go off somewhere together. We should all have that experience together.”

Set to arrive on 9th March, the band will embark on a UK & European tour which will bring them to Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on 21st April.
