CRAFTING a sound that transports you to the American west coast with a hazy mystique and intoxicating glamour, it’s fair to say that multi-instrumentalist OAKLND has captured our imaginations with the release of his dreamy debut single ‘Hold On’.
A songwriter who spent a significant amount of time on the road with a touring Scottish outfit, Colin Mckillop has found fresh creative inspiration under his new moniker OAKLND; a project which has allowed him to merge breezy California-inspired pop with mellow electro influences to great effect. With airs of psychedelia, chillwave and R&B, the dreamy track takes you on a sun-kissed journey to warmer climes as we approach the coldest months of the year.
