The band: Back in September Leeds band Pulled Apart By Horses released their third full length album Blood, which went on to peak at no. 38 in the UK charts. Following this success the band then had a busy October and November, supporting Kasabian on their European tour. Unwilling to let the momentum slide the group are now poised to release a four-track EP titled Medium Rarewhich will drop on the 17th November.

The sound: Earlier the band showcased the titular track from the EP, airing the freaky and slightly disturbing ‘Medium Rare’. Now they are back with another song from the four-track titled ‘Beat Up’. The non-stop tirade throws noise in your face, and is packed with enough energy to leave you feeling somewhat beaten up. It could be inspired by the same chaos that infected 90’s group The Jesus Lizard.

The lowdown: After the release of Medium Rare the group will hit the road for a tour around the UK. They’ll make six stops including Stereo in Glasgow on the 22nd November.
