BEST known for their poignant and heartrending take on the expansive world of folk, Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire continue to capture audiences with their music wherever they may roam.

Preparing to release the next full length album in his vast, eclectic discography of projects both grandiose and stripped back, the band have unveiled their brand new video for ‘Violet.’

Featuring an alternative take on Americana which recalls the similar reinvention of The Tallest Man On Earth on Dark Bird Is Home, ‘Violet’ is the kind of track which is designed for the listener to immerse themselves in. Featuring tinges of elating organ and warm instrumentation, it is uplifted by Hart’s delivery which renders every syllable as equally impactful and essential.

Its new monochrome video was directed by Mandy Shannon and features artful shots of the band cavorting around a park.

Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire’s new record ‘Swithering’ will be released on the 25th November via Middle Of Nowhere Recordings.
