DIVULGING that the album’s contents are the product of a bitter divorce, Ryan Adams’ brand new record proves to be one of his most startlingly heartfelt to date.

His first recorded material since the arrival of his re-imagined take on Taylor Swift’s 1989, the American singer/songwriter has rediscovered his love for gargantuan hooks on ‘Do You Still Love Me?’

Setting off with mournful organ before a deluge of rabid power chords make their way through, this latest offering from the beloved artist is of stadium rock proportions and is in line with the sweeping guitar ballads of artists such as Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen. A forlorn plea to a love once held dear, early indications would suggest that this will be one of his most poignant records that he’s ever allowed himself to record.

Prisoner will be released on the 17th February 2017.
