The Band: Dundee alternative rock band Scary People started in 2013 and are fresh from a performance on T in the Park’s T Break stage. The band will also appear at Wickerman and Belladrum during summer 2014.
The Sound: Dirty, abrasive, yet beautifully crafted, alternative rock; this track shows the band have continued to expand on their already distinctive sound. ‘Guided By The Blind’ showcases the band’s broodier side as crooning vocals combine with snappy, technical drumming and guitar melodies that pop, punch and pull at your eardrums.
The lowdown: ‘Guided By The Blind’ is out on July 28th 2014 via RedRoom Recordings. The band will play shows throughout July and August around Scotland including Glasgow’s Broadcast venue on the 1st.
