splashhhTEASING us with an inviting standalone single last year, it’s fantastic to be receiving the first insight into a more substantial body of work from Splashh.

With a new album on the horizon, the London-based band that first waded into the world’s view with the phenomenal Comfort in 2013 have returned punchier than ever with the rousing sounds of ‘Rings.’

Dalliances with a more subdued sound clearly behind them, ‘Rings’ is an extroverted and abrasive number which comes charging out of the gates with authoritative riffs and an air of volatility. Teamed with drums that rattles along with militaristic precision, the track is fuzzy garage pop that isn’t afraid to demonstrate moments of introspection and thoughtfulness; with Sasha Carlson pondering the nature of this whirlwind we call life in its lyrics.

‘Rings’ is hopefully an indication of what awaits us on ‘Waiting For A Lifetime’, the band’s upcoming sophomore which is earmarked for release in the early stages of next year.
