FOLLOWING the announcement that they’ve signed up to Alcopop! Records and have a third album on the way, Edinburgh outfit The Spook School have revealed another preview track by the name of ‘Less Than Perfect’.

Capturing the feeling of disappointment when reality doesn’t meet your expectations, it’s another catchy, open-hearted anthem to add to their ever-growing catalogue. Unlike the subject of the song though, our increasingly high expectations of Spook School are anything but hindered as they take the disappointment in their stride and channel it through three minutes of fizzing indie-pop.

“It’s alright now/ Not what you hoped but that’s OK/ Teenage hopes are never less than perfect anyway” the band sing as they try and look on the bright side in a disarmingly honest fashion.

Before touring the States next year, The Spook School will support Honeyblood at their big Christmas show at ABC on 22nd December.
