THE BAND: First introducing us to their sound last month in the form of ‘If You Want To’, Glasgow’s indie-infused guitar pop band Team Player are yet to play their first live show and have trickled recordings via social media introducing us to their fusion of catchy lyrics and melodic riffs.
THE SOUND: The band’s most recent online offering comes in the form of ‘Mauerpark’, another upbeat fresh track about a romantic trip to Berlin. It’s full of melodic hooks and whirling riffs making for an easy, accessible indie sound.
THE LOWDOWN: The band will play their first ever gig supporting Vigo Thieves in Glasgow’s 02 ABC venue on 20th December 2014. Tickets are still available here.
