AN institution within the British music scene, indie rock stalwarts The Charlatans have had a lengthy and storied career; incurring moments of unbridled joy alongside tragedy and despair.

Greeting each passing decade with the same enthusiasm for their craft as the last, 2015 marked the release of Modern Nature, a stellar album of psych tinged alt rock that served as a tribute to the band’s late drummer Jon Brookes; who sadly succumbed to cancer in 2013.

Undeterred by their sorrow, the album gained rave reviews from the press and fans alike; hailed by droves as their best album in years.

With a productive summer schedule ahead of them, the band have released the visuals for ‘Let The Good Times Be Never Ending.’

Led by Jon Lord style organ and a riff that could have graced Roxy Music’s heralded 70’s catalogue; the song hinges on an impassioned vocal performance from an on form Tim Burgess, sounding as vibrant as at the outset of the band’s career. Subtle use of saxophone provides an interesting element to the proceedings before a soulful gospel choir helps to round it off with flare.

The video itself was shot by Libby Burke Wilde during the legendary group’s recent tour of Japan; flitting between artful shots of the band soaking in every aspect of the nation’s culture and images of their notoriously energetic live sets.

The Charlatans will appear on the latest season of Later… With Jools Holland on the 28th April 2015, and as previously alluded to, The Charlatans will embark upon a rigorous festival schedule this summer including various headline performances. They will be present at the prestigious events listed below.
