FANS of The Cribs are safe in the knowledge that their weekend has already got off to a flying start thanks to the arrival of a brand new track from the Wakefield trio called ‘In Your Palace’.

Having recently wrapped up a string of sold out dates around the UK celebrating the tenth anniversary of their seminal album ‘Men’s Need’s, Women’s Needs, Whatever’, the band are already looking towards the future with this gnarly new offering. The product of a recent studio session with Steve Albini, ‘In Your Palace’ finds the band in scintillating form once again but with a grungier edge.

Armed with the kind of classic Cribs chorus that we all know and love, the gritty track is as close to capturing the raw brilliance of their live show as anything we’ve heard from the trio in recent memory. Gary Jarman’s strained vocals are left in all their gritty glory over a thrash of riffs, pummelling drums and a final squall of guitars.

‘In Your Palace’ partners the seriously limited and cryptically released one-sided 7” single ‘Year Of Hate’. Fans were able to purchase the single over the course of a week from 24 indie stores globally.

Now gearing up for album number seven, The Cribs have lined up a number of live appearances this summer including Leopallooza in Cornwall, Festival No 6 in Wales and Riot Fest in Chicago.
