SET to play the Tenement Tv Presents stage at Stag & Dagger this weekend, five-piece The Duke Spirit have shared their new soulful and delicate single ‘Wounded Wing’, which features baritone vocals from Mark Lanegan that contrast mystical vocals of Liela Moss.
The new track is a wonderful, elegant piece of work that is supported by a layered video that features band members performing amid several striking effects. This expressive piece of work builds upon the excitement that has been flourishing for their upcoming album, and will surely create an intimate and moving atmosphere when touring for their debut.
The new, highly anticipated album KIN is released on 6th May 2016 through Ex Voto Records, and is produced and recorded by Simon Raymonde over a two week period at Urchin Studios in East London. The new album is available on CD, limited edition gatefold coloured LP and a deluxe edition CD.
The Duke Spirit will commence on a trio of dates this weekend, hitting up Live at Leeds and Hull’s Fruit, as well as playing Glasgow’s Stag and Dagger on 1st May on Tenement TV’s stage at O2 ABC2. The band will play a 45-minute set at 10pm. Watch the video below:
