tbTHE BAND: Finding themselves positioned as a hotly tipped act on the strength of their 2014 showing, desert rock indebted four piece Tijuana Bibles are preparing to embark upon another exciting year. Having plied their trade at major festivals such as T In The Park and Wickerman as well as sell out hometown shows and illustrious support slots, the band are set to become a permanent fixture within Scotland’s musical landscape. Looking ahead to the release of their debut LP and UK tour, they have aired their psych tinged single ‘Sun Chaser.’

THE SOUND: The track is evidence of months of hiding away in the studio working hard on a solid sound and style. It’s aggressive and rocky, much like the original demos, but its also has grit and swagger with frontman Tony Costello’s relentless vocal diving on top of riffs cementing The Bibles as a true contender for the big breakthrough name in Scottish music in 2015.

THE LOWDOWN: The band are playing a number of UK shows during February and March 2015 including bills on This Feeling’s dates around the country at venues in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and London. Visit the band’s website for more information.
