The band: Fresh from inking a deal with Communion Records, the quartet are all barely 20 years old. They’ve cut and recorded music in their basement, going on to sell records on tour. Oozing a raw and organic sound, the band have toured with the likes of The Orwells and Eagulls and will headline their first UK tour this year.

The sound: Taken from the forthcoming second album Wild Onion, this track was produced by the band, alongside Chicago’s own Andrew Humphrey and Colin Croom. Their power-pop psych-rock sound is subtly influenced by the likes of The Black Lips, Tame Impala and The Pixies. ‘I Found A New Way’ is full of amp-singeing solos, ragtag rhythms and dizzying voices of three distinct singer-songwriters.

The lowdown: Twin Peaks released their debut EP in the UK, Flavor, via National Anthem earlier this summer, which followed the US only release of their basement recorded debut album, Sunken, in 2013. Their second album Wild Onion will be released on 1st September 2014 (following its 5th August release in the US through Grand Jury), The band will tour the UK in the autumn.
