The band: United Fruit are starting to burst out of the Glasgow music scene onto a bigger stage, with the bands popularity increasing every day. We looked at their previous single which you can listen to hear, and the four-piece are now back with ‘Open Your Eyes’, due out late October.
The sound: Epitomising aggressive, insistent, perpetual alternative rock, ‘Open Your Eyes’ is a song that is all energy. Singer Iskandar Stewart takes centre stage with this song, his vocals roaring throughout.
The lowdown: ‘Open Your Eyes’ is released through First Run Records on the 27th October. They are heading out on a full UK tour in October, where they will play Nice N Sleazy in Glasgow on the 24th October, as well as three other Scottish dates.
