GLASGOW’S
riff-heavy We Came From Wolves have announced details of their new single ‘Ruiner’, a track which features on the eponymous debut album that was released last year.

It has all the distinctive features of a Scottish alternative rock band and is comparable to the two heavyweights in that category – Biffy Clyro and Twin Atlantic. It’s evident that We Came From Wolves go for a similar style of punchy riffs, anthemic choruses and rousing song endings that has worked particularly well for the bands they draft influence from. Vocally, the band sound similar to the Aled Philips, singer of the now defunct Kids in Glass Houses, whose voice was renowned for tightening the band’s convincing-sounding chemistry.

The quartet are touring the Highlands this month and are expecting to release a new EP by the end of the year.
