white pressWHENEVER you think you’ve finally sussed out the core elements of WHITE’s musical mission statement, they go ahead and coyly reinvent themselves.

With the band now garnering considerable name recognition throughout the UK and Europe, it seems that their next evolution is upon us and begins with their brand new single ‘Step Up.’

The first excerpt from their upcoming debut EP, ‘Step Up’ sees the band abscond from the much fawned over sound of their previous output but manage to remain every bit as engaging and exciting.

Adopting a much more sinister, volatile and uninhibited sound which has more in common with the sonic bombardment of artists such as Blanck Mass, Throbbing Gristle and Suicide than any of the post punk staples that they constantly garner comparisons to, ‘Step Up’ is a viscous thrill-ride that makes the fact that WHITE are the furthest thing from one-trick ponies less of a statement and more of a reinforced fact.

With a track this warped and forward-thinking under their belt, it’s safe to say that we’re impatiently waiting for their new Cut’s Don’t Bleed.

Accompanied by a set of equally madcap visuals, check out the brand new track below:
