THE latest band to thrust themselves onto our radar are Young Earth; an exciting young outfit from Dublin and a refreshing addition to the modern indie rock scene. Destined to make an impact well beyond the reaches of their hometown, the four-piece have unveiled a thrilling new track called ‘Got A Secret’.
Demonstrating a marked progression from the jangly summer sounds of previous single ‘Maggie’, this new offering plays into the heavier side of their sound; eliciting an authentic rock and roll swagger over some seriously infectious melodies. With a refreshingly fluid and carefree structure, the track doesn’t have a definitive chorus as such but instead rides over guitar hooks aplenty; complemented so brilliantly by the bright and breezy lead vocal.
