THE line-up for TRNSMT 2018’s opening day on Friday 29th June has been unveiled.
Expanding to encompass two weekends in July, the Glasgow Green-based festival follow hot on the heels of last year’s inaugural event and its first day will feature a headline set from Welsh indie rock icons Stereophonics alongside special guests The Script, James Bay and Jessie J.
The second announcement to follow in the wake of the news that Liam Gallagher would be taking centre stage on Saturday 30th June alongside Courteeners, Wolf Alice and J Hus, DF Concerts head Geoff Ellis has stated:
“Today’s announcement of headliners Stereophonics plus The Script, James Bay and Jessie J brings yet another brilliant taster of TRNSMT 2018. We were delighted to bring the news of Liam Gallagher’s headline show to the masses earlier last week and TRNSMT’s line-up is shaping up to be a brilliant celebration of world-class bands and local talent, over two weekends, for the first-ever time in Glasgow.”
General sale tickets for the second annual festival will be available from Friday 1st December whilst those eager to secure them ahead of time can do so by signing up to an exclusive presale via TRNSMT’s official site.
