AS everything starts to come together for one of the biggest music competitions in the world, Tenement TV are telling you everything you need to know about Hard Rock’s Battle of the Bands. Glasgow’s own Hard Rock Cafe will be playing host to the European heat of this year’s competition, alongside a host of other rock n roll cities.
Alongside Nashville, Seattle, Sydney, Moscow and Curitiba, Glasgow will help Hard Rock on their globe-trotting search to find the best aspiring bands, solo artists, DJ’s and MC’s, with an unbelievable prize up for grabs. After a rigorous selection process, the acts selected for the European heat will perform live in front a packed audience and a panel of notable judges, with two selected to receive $1,000 cash and a place in the next round. It is then over to the public to decide the three global acts they think should head off an all-expenses paid trip to New York city with $15,000 cash to perform at the iconic Paramount Theatre in the hear of Time Square for top record label executives.
The Scottish are no strangers to success in this competition, with both 100 Fables and Break the Butterfly both staking their claim for greatness in previous years.
