Position: Intern Contributor
Info: Tenement TV are expanding our online team and looking for creative individuals to help source and produce content for various aspects of the website and production.
The position is unpaid and will provide valuable experience for a student or graduate in the journalism industry.
Tenement TV are at the forefront of the Scottish music scene after transforming a quirky idea into a pioneering platform that offers fans of music a unique multimedia creative unit. The Tenement TV team are extremely passionate and creative individuals who work hard to enjoy exciting benefits including press passes to gigs around the UK and Europe as well as major UK festivals. This intern role will offer the successful candidate a chance to cultivate your presence in the music industry.
The successful candidate should be experienced in online journalism writing style and have an extremely good knowledge of the music scene (especially in Scotland & UK). Confidence in using WordPress is desired, although full training will be provided.
Previous interns of Tenement TV have gone onto work as A&R scouts at Virgin EMI, booking assistants at DF Concerts & PCL and working at one of the UK’s top communication agencies who handle accounts including T in the Park and The SSE Hydro.
Position includes:-
– Sourcing and writing New Music articles
– Sourcing and writing Album Reviews
– Updating Social Media (mainly Facebook & Twitter)
– Updating TTV Website – SEO & WordPress
– Availability during the day most days of the week to write articles and post on social media
– To assist with Tenement TV sessions and on location shoots if needed

Position: Camera Operators
Position includes:-
– Assisting camera crew during sessions filmed On Location and at TTV HQ
– Operating cameras to create still and moving images at band interviews, performances and at major festivals including the likes of T in the Park
