ON THE banks of the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, The Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival will celebrate its forth year as one of Europe’s leading electronic music events. Bringing an international line-up to Scotland, as well as harnessing some of the UK – and Scotland’s – up-and-coming talent, Riverside Festival is an exciting addition to the Scottish festival landscape.
This year’s line-up has something to suit all tastes. Cocoon – Ibiza biggest party throwers – will headline Saturday 28th May’s proceedings bringing their international flavour to Glasgow once more with the likes of Sven Väth set to return to the event after blowing the roof of the tent last year. Then there’s the likes of local hero Jackmaster who’ll play the festival for the first ever time and is sure to be welcomed like a hero by the local crowd.
For those who rarely venture to the likes of Electric Frog & Pressure events, the festival have it covered with the very accessible and world-renowned figurehead Fatboy Slim headlining the closing day on Sunday 29th. He’ll remix well known tracks and ensure that next weekend’s Bank Holiday is one to remember. Just watch his set from T in the Park 2015 to fall in love with his massive energy and party vibe:
Featuring a beer garden, live art and unrivalled local street vendors, this year’s festival is opening up the iconic Riverside Museum complete with a mock Glasgow street and Subway station for VIP guests offering fans the chance to upgrade their ticket and experience the event on a whole other level.
Tickets are on sale now via the festival’s website.
