AS we approach the STREAM4SCOTLAND online event this coming Saturday 30th May, TTV are shining a spotlight on the event looking at our section of the line-up between 3-6PM and uncovering some of the surprises the musicians have in store.
CHARITY TUNES
The stream is in support of Nordoff Robbins – a brilliant music therapy charity that helps vulnerable people to thrive through music therapy. A yearly Scottish Music Awards event is a key fundraiser for the charity in Scotland, so with COVID-19 negatively effecting charity fundraising efforts across Scotland and the world, TTV are delighted to be able to help shine a light on the charity and urge those who can to donate. BANGING LINE-UP
TTV are thrilled to bring together a 50:50 gender split of live performances. From 3PM, artists including AARON SMITH, BABY STRANGE, BE CHARLOTTE, CAIRN STRING QUARTET , CARA ROSE , CLUB SABBATH DJ SET, COLONEL MUSTARD & THE DJON 5, DECLAN WELSH , HONEYBLOOD , KITTI , LUCIA + THE BEST BOYS , NEON WALTZ, RASCALTON , SPYRES, THE ROLY MO, THE VAN T’S + VANIVES will perform at home live on Gigs in Scotland Facebook page and the Stream4Scotland website.
SURPRISES
Some of the artists have been working on something a little special for the Stream4Scotland event. The incredible kitti has collaborated with Cairn String Quartet. The 12 piece orchestra will perform a cover of the hauntingly-beautiful ‘Caledonia’ exclusively for TENEMENT TV. Rascalton are joining forces with Baby Strange for a cover of a classic banger plus Declan Welsh has written something exclusively for the stream.
The much-loved club night Club Sabbath are back by popular demand after a lockdown hiatus, to finish the TTV section of the stream in style with a DJ set to remember.
A SNAPSHOT OF SCOTLAND
Not only are fans going to be treated to the best new music for 3 hours, until 6PM on Saturday, the full ten hour stream is brining together some of the best musicians from around the country including The Snuts, Stephanie Cheape, Twin Atlantic, Kyle Falconer, Wuh Oh and TTV 2020 Vision artist Luke La Volpe who has just celebrated a number 1 with new EP.
Ensuring the party keeps going on Saturday night is Sub Club who will bring together exclusive sets from the likes of JG Wilkes and Harri.
