THE Shambolics are a band to be reckoned with. Off the chats live, the Scottish boys have released their new album to rave reviews and TTV caught up with them on their journey so far.

“The journey has a been a long road. We’ve had some ups and downs and many setbacks but it’s been great. Creating the album was some laugh. We where under a lot of pressure before going in ’cause we never had enough songs, but our producer Chris Marshall just made it a much easier and enjoyable process. He’s a madcase as well but also a really really good producer!”

“It’s great to finally be at this stage. We where at the point where we never knew if we’d ever see the day we released an album so now its finally happening it feels amazing!”

“There’s a few bands we’ve played with recently Resister & Castros who are great., Ben walker is someone who we have played with recently who is doing amazing right now. I really like Brooke Combe’s stuff she is smashing it right now. There’s so much bands. Scotland is on fire right now

“Universal Credit perfectly sums us up. The lyrics speaks for itself.”

“There’s some old heritage Fife bands who we love Big Country & Nazareth. The View where a massive influence to us growing up and still are. There’s also some great acts out there now who inspire us and who are absolutely smashing it, The Snuts, Gerry Cinnamon and Dylan John Thomas.

“Our goal for the album is just for people to enjoy it. If we can get a UK top 40 then great, but that wont dictate the band. We just want people tolerate to the tunes and & feel connected to the album.”

“We’ve got a UK tour on the horizon. All Scottish dates sold out rapid. English dates are not too far behind. Were just focusing on 1 thing at a time so the focus now is getting that full tour sold out!
